I'm not buying any of it new. I'll sanitize before baby gets here. I figure its just like dishes and you reuse those day to day and family member to family member.

I want to switch to glass bottles and since I pumped mostly in to the playtex drop in liners, I will need to figure out another way to store the milk. But I plan to reuse the flanges and tubing and all that stuff.

@HappyBaker: If you have a Medela pump, I'd probably use new membranes, just because that's an easy upgrade and those are easy to tear. But I probably wouldn't bother with buying new tubing or flanges if what you have currently works (and you don't believe there's any mold issues)!

I'm planning on using my Avent pump more this time around (it seemed to work better for me than my Medela) and it's a closed system pump, so I'm not concerned about needing new parts for it at all.

@HappyBaker: I would get new membranes, but they're like $6 per package. I'd also get new nipples for the bottles, mainly because I find it really difficult to get them completely clean so I plan to just toss them all once we're done with bottles. The hard plastic pump parts and bottles themselves, I'd totally reuse.

I'll probably get new tubing and membranes in the future!

Well I'm going to see what insurance covers as far as the pump goes, but I will be reusing the bottles.

I'm getting new membranes for the pump and nipples for the bottles but I'll reuse everything else and just sanitize.
