As your LO got bigger/older did you change nursing positions, or use the same one as when they were a newborn?

Definitely changed positions. As a newborn I could only do the cross cradle with him laying on a pillow. Now I just usually do a regular cradle hold or side lying.

Oh yeah. Now we either lay down, or she sits on my lap and nurses. We NEVER do a baby hold any more, haven't since she was 7 months, probably. 17 months now.

as a newborn, we did a lot of football hold because of her latch. now we do mainly cradle. (at almost 5m)

I still do cross cradle and most of the time use my boppy at 5.5 months. She's getting long for the boppy though, so we'll probably try some new moves soon!

yup. used to football hold on one side, cross cradle the other. now its kind of whatever position we're in. my favorite is side lying though.

Did football originally. Moved on to doing cradle and cross cradle for awhile. Now we do side lying most of the time or cross cradle.

We've always done cradle and side-lying. Now she tends to like to twist and turn and wiggle while she's nursing. There really are no names for those positions.

He now prefers to sit up and nurse unless he's really tired and then we do cradle. Also side lying is still a favourite.

We exclusively did cross cradle or football hold in the beginning. Now it's almost always cradle hold.

@aprk: we do the laid back position... Started because of a forceful letdown and still do it!
