I'm going to have in done when I give birth in February. I know one other woman who has.

I didn't but if I had a hard time after having my first I would have with my second. I know 5-7 women who have either encapsulated their placenta or made smoothies. I live in a pretty hippy-ish area.

Nope and don't plan to with subsequent pregnancies either. I've heard of people doing it, but don't know anyone that did it personally.

No. I'm pretty sure my hospital wouldn't have allowed me to take my placenta if I had wanted it.
