What were you hoping for during pregnancy?

We have always wanted a boy and our anatomy ultrasound says BOY! I guess you never know 100% until the baby is born though...

We wanted a girl. I had a strong feeling early on that it was going to be a boy. We couldn't be happier! He's so much fun!

Other - didn't care! I felt *slightly* more comfortable with little boys (I babysat a nephew from 6w-2.5 years), but I couldn't be happier with my little girl. Boy or girl, you can't go wrong!

@QBbride: When our baby boy was born, I can't remember if it was one of the doctors or nurses who said it, but one of them said "Yep, still a boy."
For those who haven't had their boys yet, apparently they like to cause trouble during labor by kicking off monitors, etc. When I had a couple of nurses come and go, they were alerted to my stats. When they heard that there was some random little troubles and I was expecting a boy, they weren't surprised at all.

I didn't care so much either way, especially after a mc, we just wanted a healthy baby!
But, that said, I knew I wanted to have at least 1 girl, and so I hoped we would have a girl first, and we're having a girl! Yay!

We didn't care either way - we both had guessed it was a girl... then we found out it was a boy! Couldn't be happier!

We really didn't care with either kid, which is part of why we decided not to find out the sex during pregnancy. It worked out perfectly, both times!

I didn't care either way. My husband was leaning a little towards wanting a boy, but wouldn't have been upset with a girl. We had a boy. If we have another, I feel like I'll want a little girl for me, but a little boy for my son. So we win either way.

I don't know what it is and I really don't care. But DH would really like a boy. I just keep reminding him that there is a 50/50 chance. We both really feel like it's a boy though.

I was happy with either for different reasons but deep down wanted a girl and got it!
next round I'm really hoping for a boy! ha

I wanted both! But I picked boy because a) I had all sisters and DH has two little nieces, so a boy just seemed fun and different. B) I was so convinced it was a boy that I wanted to be right! But I feel weird saying I wanted a boy because it sounds sexist. I don't think boys are any better!

I really wanted both, but had a feeling she was a girl, and she was! I think since I had a feeling she was, if she were a boy I would have been very surprised and felt a little less prepared, if that makes sense.

I wanted a girl and was sooo scared to have a boy. My brothers totally scared me hahaha... Jk.. Kinda..
Anyway when we had our gender scan it showed boy and I was a little disappointed.. But it didnt take long to get over it and embrace having a boy. Now I'm totally in love with this little boy and would love to have another one!

We wanted a boy (though we would have been happy with a girl), and we just found out we're having a boy!

I wanted a boy. Mainly because I loved having an older brother and it seemed natural to me to have a boy as the oldest. But throughout my pregnancy I had a strong feeling it was a girl and really warmed to the idea. I was thrilled when she was born and my feeling was proven right. I LOVE having a girl. But hubs and I are both hoping for a boy next.

I just wanted healthy happy babies... and hoped that I had one girl in the mix. We were blessed with two!

I kinda wanted one of each (but really didn't care all that much) and got one boy and one girl! I wouldn't have minded two boys either though!

I want to have 4 kids. I have always said I want a boy, two girls and another boy. I got my boy first. ( I am of course happy with healthy).

I wanted a boy and had a boy. Hoping the same thing will happen next time around!

DH and I both really wanted a girl and when we found it it was a girl at our 20 week ultrasound we high fived each other!
