Did it do ANYTHING?
I had one this morning at 39 weeks and I haven't even felt so much as crampy afterwards, so I'm thinking it didn't do much. Dr said I'd probably spot too, but none of that either.

I did at 39w and went into labor 48 hours later. However, I had lots of mucousy blood.

I had it done twice, once at 39 weeks and again at 40 weeks. My water broke at 40w2d.

I had one at 38 weeks. I felt crampy afterwards but no spotting or anything. My water broke 4 days later. @PrincessBaby: Thinking about you guys friend!!!!!

I had one at 39 weeks, had some spotting over the next few days, and went into labor at 39w4d.
Not long now either way! I'm so excited for you!

@PrincessBaby: same. nothing happened for me either. I was induced with Cervidil and it worked perfectly though, my water broke on it's own, labor started right after that without Pitocin.
this weekend, huh??! SO excited for you

I had one at 39 weeks and 40 weeks.
I was really crampy after both - and at the 40 week sweep the cramps weren't as bad, but hung around -- then the next day it turned into contractions and I was in labor!

@rachiecakes: I meant to post on your wall and ask you about your induction....So you never needed pitocin? I am getting Cervadil inserted on Sunday night, I guess that continues overnight, and then they're planning Pitocinon Monday. I was hopeful that maybe the Cervadil would work on it's own but I don't really hear that happening too often....

I think the anxiety is getting to me....I'm super excited but also super anxious.....And the anxiety is getting me irritable so I wish I could just relax! I am the Tazmanian Devil- still mega nesting, washing everything ever, I swiffer the floor like 5x a day. I'm just a hot mess:)

My OB tried to do one at 38 weeks but couldn't. She did one at 39 weeks, I lost my mucous plug the next day, and went into labor the day after!
@PrincessBaby: you are so close!! I remember feeling like I was going crazy the last few weeks, but soon it will be over! -
my first one at 38+5 felt like it did nothing but it may have..the next night i lost my plug and at 40w on the dot i had serious amounts of bloody show. i had a second on 40w and delivered a few hours later! lol.

@PrincessBaby: my case was totally different, but they inserted cervadil around 5:30 pm for me. My water broke around 3:45-4:00 am. I delivered around 4:20-4:30, but I think I only had to dilate to 4 or 5 cm. it had happened super quick and my body responded very well.

I had two. The first did nothing, the second could have worked as I went into labor about 8 hours later.
