I did but it doesn't sound like it was as much as this. When you pump how much are you pumping? I'd hand express instead and express just enough to take the edge off. It'll be uncomfortable for a few days but it should get better.

@BabyPenguinXO: Oh wow that's a lot! I would try to cut down on how many ozs you pump. You're signaling your body to continue to producing that much so as long as you pump your body will produce it. I think hand expressing would help a lot but if you pump I'd do the least amount possible.

ETA: This is just to help with the oversupply. If you want to continue pumping and donate definitely do that, but if/when you want to stop that's what I would do.

I have slight oversupply but at five weeks pp it seems to be settling. I agree with the others that the pumping is probably contributing to the oversupply.

that sounds normal to me. i was engorged 24/7 until 3-4 months and that was with the baby feeding on demand every 2-3 hours and also pumping, which probably didn't help with the oversupply. it will regulate! breastfeeding is all supply and demand. your body won't regulate for a while, this is the best time to build your stash.
