I didn't know but I did have kind of a strange feeling. I can't answer the poll because I feel like I was in between. I will say this: my boobs weren't the sore thing it was my nipples themselves and they had never felt like that before, that and some implantation bleeding were big clues. Good luck!

I didn't vote since I have had one of each! With DS, I just knew the second I conceived. Didn't POAS until about 2 weeks later, but I knew the whole time. With this baby, I had no idea. We were actively TTC and I was trying really hard not to symptom spot or get too hopeful. I had light spotting (which is my normal) a few days before AF was supposed to show and thought it was game over. When AF never showed, I tested, but had a BFN/squinter. I was really surprised and happy to get a BFP three days later.

no. I knew statistically we had done well that month, but the positive test was still a surprise!

Yes I definitely knew, without question. I knew the symptoms I was having weren't just in my head. I even took a test in the morning and it was negative, and I wasn't even sad because I knew it would be positive. Later that afternoon I tested and it was positive!!!

Symptoms: crazy insomnia (lasted the whole first trimester),, bad gas pains, sore back, headache, just felt "off"...

No, I thought we'd missed our shot that month and took a test because I felt really exhausted. But when I actually looked at my test at first, it was out of the corner of my eye (and I was barely awake) so I didn't see the second line at first and thought "dang!" but then I looked closer and saw it was totally there! Then I was more like "holy crap!!" haha. Later that day and the next I had crazy flu-like symptoms, but they hadn't fully come on when I took my test.

In contrast, there was a month before where I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant, and I definitely wasn't...haha

I didn't "feel" pregnant, but my cat got super cuddly on me and my cervix felt like it does when I'm pregnant, lol. I knew I was gonna poas and get a +.

Both times I was surprised. I don't temp or chart or think about symptoms. And I waited until the day my period was due to test. In hindsight I had "symptoms" with my 1st pregnancy but I didn't know that's what they were at the time. With this current pregnancy, zero symptoms before my BFP.

At the time I did all my typical symptom spotting but blew it off cause we were already into cycle 15. In hine site I it makes sense. I remember feeling or think I was feeling implantation twice, I started getting hungry towards the end of the 2 weeks, & when I bit DH's head off the day before my BFP I kind of suspected it. BUT like I said I blew them off. Crazy things happen during the tww. GOOD LUCK!

The second time, I knew when I looked at the test it was going to be positive. I was pretty sure the night before, so it was a great thing to see that .

I voted no, because I "knew" it every cycle we have TTC'd, so I was right the cycles that I did get BFP lol

No, I thought I was out. I went for a run the day before I tested and felt off, which usually means I'm getting sick. I went to a baby shower that afternoon and I felt extra sad, which I attribute to NOT being pregnant when it was something I desperately wanted, so I was shocked when I tested the next night and got a faint positive. I tested the following morning and the second line came up within a minute on the FRER.

Nope, completely clueless both times. I've had far more BFN months that I had thought would be it, so I've learned that I have zero intuition.

My breasts felt huge, but I really didn't think it was pregnancy related. I honestly thought I wasn't pregnant. I checked for the hell of it to a light positive at night to a positive FRER the next day.

I was convinced I wasn't, actually. Seeing the second line (on a test I only took because I was charting and my temp was still high the day AF was due) was such a huge shock that I sat on the bathroom floor and stared at it for several minutes in disbelief. And then had a mini-panic attack.

In retrospect, there were some things that should have clued me in...one sore nipple once, the smell of bacon making me all vomit-y, and I was bitchy and tired, but I brushed off those things as random or illness related because our timing had been so awful that month. But I didn't FEEL pregnant for a few more weeks.

I cried at the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial (like, sobbing) and DH called it. I didn't get the BFP for another week and a half!

The second my nipples were sore I was pretty sure but didn't really know until the test. On #2 if I get sore nipples again that will be my cue. I had never had that before.

@Smurfette: Same here. That night I was like "yep, that was it," and in the morning I had a particular song in my mind when I woke up that sealed the deal for me. But I tested neg on 6 dpo (go figure), and then we went on vacation so I just tried to convince myself that sleeping and eating more was a side effect of running around so much, although I wanted to test again at 9 dpo. I waited until 13 and it was instantly there.
