I went off dairy to help with R's reflux (hasn't really helped) and I thought I would lose weight fast. I haven't lost much at all and it's been 2 months! What the heck??
Do you lose weight on a limited diet while BF?

I did but I also eliminated a ton of other stuff (dairy, soy, nuts, corn, eggs). If it helps to know, I gained the weight right back once I went back to my regular diet. So it only lasted a short time.

I did but I was super paranoid about it and didn't eat anywhere but home the entire time I was on it. So no restaurants or takeout. We don't eat a ton of convenience foods normally so the diet forced me to be super careful about what I ate. I had a loooooot of veggies and proteins during that time, so I'm sure that helped more than the mspi diet per se.

I did!
But I put it back on when I reintroduced dairy after getting pregnant again.

I have lost weight, but I'm sure I'm going to gain a ton when I reintroduce dairy and J starts eating less. I'm always hungry!

I did the diet for a month and did lose weight, it created a lot of stress for me and caused other health issues for me and didn't really help LO. So no longer on the diet and now I put on some weight

Yes! But I was also working out 4-5x a week. I was back at my wedding size by 5 months pp! But I also cut out gluten which I think was the kicker....

I've only cut dairy. But am strict about it. And work out 4x a week. weight hasn't budged. So annoying.

I did. But I think it was more because skipping dairy meant way less eating out and no yummy baked goods! I didn't notice it at the time but when I started eating it again I totally gained weight.

I didn't. I'm really good at finding dairy and soy free fattening foods. =)

I did a two week trial to see if out would help and I actually gained two pounds! I think if I had stayed on it I would have found my groove but I was so worried about losing food I loved that I went over board in finding treats to compensate.

Yes but I also cut wheat. Then winter happened and I gained back 2 lbs.
