Getting pump parts ready and I only have the 27mm from last time. Did you use same size with each baby? Wondering if I should order next size up just in case (no way I’ll need smaller).

Yes and no. I used 27mm when pumping for DD1. I used 27mm for the first 3 months pumping for DD2 but now I'm using 24mm.

@jhd: I don’t even know if I want to pump or BF but I’m in the “I need everything to be prepared JUST IN CASE” phase. I’m sure you’re right there with me

@peachykeen: thank you! I’m most worried about right out the gate. I only pumped for 5 weeks or so last time so I’m thinking I might be ok for a while if I do it again this time?
Do you know what your bra size was when using the 27mm? These look a lot smaller than I remember my boobs being

@SweetiePie: yes! I have been stocking up on every last thing we could possibly need. Even though I know between Amazon Prime and 24 hour stores nearby we likely won’t have trouble getting things we need!

@SweetiePie: So what really matters for flange sizing is nipple size, not boob size. You need a little room so your nipples aren't rubbing on the sides but not so much room that it's pulling a lot of areola into the flange.
Here's a good example: http://blog.medelabreastfeedingus.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Screen-Shot-2015-05-06-at-3.53.46-PM.png
I bet you'll probably be okay with the same size in the beginning but some people's nipples get a little smaller as time goes on.
