I currently have two Medela PIS, so I thought I'd try something different this time. I was planning on going with the Spectra because I've seen that a lot of people really like them, but then I just saw my insurance will also cover the Freemie Hands Free Delux Pump. Which one would you go with?

I'm planning to get a Spectra. I don't really need a hands-free pump and I've heard good things about Spectra pumps, plus there is a store locally that carries spare parts for them.

I tried my friends spectra and liked it a lot.

My spectra is so quiet no one can hear when i pump on conference calls. And it is super effective

The freemie I have is only able to be run on electric power, so if battery power is needed, it won't work.

I already had freemje cups so I hacked it to use with my spectra. I LOVE my freemie cups but I heard the pump isn't that great so I'd get spectra and just buy freemie cups

I didn't like the freemie cups - mostly because I need to do a lot of massage, hand compression that get good output while pumping.

For #2 I am definitely getting the Spectra. Lots of mom I know have it and say it's better than Medela.

I'm kinda obsessed with my spectra! Quiet and efficient!
