I'm so curious. Was there anything besides POAS that gave it away before you POAS?

First time, I had sore boobs for one day. This time, I had no symptoms.

Nope, no real symptoms that couldn't have been normal everyday symptoms.

My only symptom before my first BFP was the lack of PMS symptoms. I am typically a little more emotional a week before I start and I wasn't so that was how I had a sneaking suspicion. My second BFP gave me no symptoms either and I tested five days late because I thought it was impossible for me to be pregnant. Wrong.

Not really...my boobs were a little swollen this time around but not sore. That's about it.

None with either. DS I had sore breasts the day AF was due and with this baby I didn't experience any symptoms at all until 9 weeks or so (I didn't POAS until 6 weeks either, so really had no clue I was pregnant).

@anbanan15 @cherrybee @dandelion @mrshotdog @babyboeksmom @T.H.O.U. were any of you charting bbt? any interpretations on that?
grape / 92 posts
Nope, I had no noticeable symptoms. I'd just had a negative the week before and don't even know why I decided to test. Didn't chart or anything though, our version of trying is most people's idea of NTNP.

nothing that didn't seem normal--I had weird cramps when I woke up in the morning for a few days the week before my bfp (around CD 19-22 ish which was probably around 6-9 dpo but I wasn't tracking bbt or opks), but I had gotten cramps like that the month before so I didn't let myself think it was anything. I felt worn out a few days before, but that also is normal for me around AF. And peeing frequently, but my bladder was small anyway. So I really didn't feel anything until after my bfp (I tested on CD 28), though then it was like sudden onset symptomville--I felt like I had the flu for the next couple days!

My main symptoms were implantation cramps and crazy dreams. DH thought I was nuts because I kept telling him I have to be pregnant because of my dreams.

Nope, I had no real symptoms whatsoever. I had some light cramping but I chalked that up to possible AF coming. I had no sore boobs, no bloating, no moodiness, no nothing. The morning of my bfp I had a really vivid dream that I took a test and it was positive!

No symptoms, I only tested because I realized I was a couple days late, and my period runs like clockwork. We also were not trying, so I wasn't looking for symptoms and watching out for any differences, so I'm sure that contributed to not having any symptoms.

No symptoms at all! We were charting, but my chart didn't look like anything special that month.
GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts
None, but it was sort of a tip off in itself because I usually had cramps/sore boobs before AF and the fact that I didn't made me think something was up

Yes! Severe heartburn that would wake me out of deep sleep, nausea, giant sore boobs and just generally feeling crPpy.

Nothing really. I think I willed myself to be tired, lol! I wasn't charting really seriously, but I knew roughly when things were going down. I didn't expect a BFP, TBH.

I had what felt like a cold, which is actually could have been, and was tired...but that could have been from the cold. BBT stayed constant; it didn't go up or down...only decided to test because i was 3 days late for AF

Not sure how I didn't see this one before but I had no symptoms whatsoever! I probably had more PG symptoms the two months that I was off BC before I got my BFP than my BFP month.

the month I got the positive was the month I had NO signs other than a gut feeling!

@MrsKoala: @sera_87: @sorrycharlie: Thank you all for possibly giving me some hope! I keep looking at my nipples to see if they're darker, if my boobs are bigger, if I'm peeing more, smelling stronger, tasting metallic... (Okay, not literally but ya know what I mean!). The fact that a lot of people have no signs makes me feel like I'm still in the game!

@LindsayInNY: I am never so aware of my body as I am in the TWW!
I really need to start tracking symptoms to see if they change month to month, or if I'm making myself crazy for no reason.
My only symptom was implantation bleeding.

I didn't have any typical symptoms. Just very vivid dreams and I was hot while sleeping. The only other time I remember those things were while pregnant. Sure enough I was.

I had a sore throat, but that was it. I was charting at the time, but didn't get a triphastic pattern. Looking back, I might have had a tiny implantation dip, but I was REALLY surprised when I got my BFP.

For so many months, I felt every possible symptom during the TWW... but I wasn't pregnant. So frustrating!
When I finally got pregnant, the only symptom I noticed was night sweating for one or two nights accompanied by a tiny bit of nausea. I also had an odd, calm feeling... like I knew somewhere deep inside that I was finally pregnant. But I was so jaded by negative test results that I didn't let that thought cross my mind until after getting my BFP.

I was convinced my period was lagging due to stress, so I didn't POAS until I was about 2 weeks late. Looking back, I definitely had usual PMS symptoms, but some were a little amplified, like breast tenderness and fatigue. I also experienced a metallic taste in my mouth, which is what finally made me test.
grapefruit / 4997 posts
My cycles have always been irregular but I knew something was different when I had this strange, metallic aftertaste to everything I are. So when I tested positive after POAS, I almost didn't believe it. I think I was just being cautiously optimistic (almost too cautious now looking back. The RE office that worked with me confirmed I was 7 weeks pregnant a week later.
