I didn't but always felt like a should have. I had such a good experience. I'll probably bring a thank you something this time.

@autumnlove: yes. I absolutely love my OB. We are planning to write a card and get him a small holiday gift a few weeks after LO is born!

I sent cookies to the nurses. I was there for a LONG time (Tue night through Sunday) and they were amazing.

I sent a giant cookie arrangement to the hospital with a card.
I feel like I should've sent something separately to the OB's office (it wasn't my OB that delivered), she was phenomenal.

No. My OB didn't end up delivering LO. But I did get to say thank you in person to one of the nurses that cared for LO during his first few days in the NICU and that was really special.

No - but I did take a photo of DD to my 6 week PP appointment. They have a big bulletin board with pictures of the babies they've delivered recently.
Oh - and we brought doughnuts and bagels for the nurses while I was still in labor.

Yes. I gave my OB a card and a bottle of really nice wine I knew she would like. She has been my gyn for years and is a really awesome person and provided excellent care and patient advocacy. Plus, I knew she loved red wine like me!

No. Didn't even think of it. We don't have that kind of a relationship. But I'm not a person who sends Christmas cards to our pediatrician/dentist either so maybe it's me lol.

I brought my OB a card and a plant at my postpartum checkup. And I brought cookies for the office staff.
I was so anxious about giving birth, and I was really grateful for a non-traumatic birth experience afterwards.

No. I barely know them. I did pre-pay a $500 delivery fee so that will have to do!

I gave my midwife a card and small token $10GC to DD at my PP apt, mainly because she stayed after her shift to deliver me!!!!
