I only have a short robe that looks silly with my pregnant belly. I'm not sure if I should take it...I'm sure I'll still look pregnant even after giving birth!

No, but my induction was a total surprise--I didn't have anything with me! DH had to rush home and throw some stuff n a bag for me. I was verbally directing him around the house through my contractions.
ETA: I would have though.

I'm going in tomorrow (eeek!) but I bought a clearance robe at Target in a size that fits my pregnant belly. I thought I'd like to have it because I might be more comfortable in it than just a gown. I also wanted to get one that was short but not too short. The one I found goes to my knees.

I brought one but felt icky (wasn't allowed to shower until over 24 hours after giving birth so I just stayed in two hospital gowns (one opened in the front one open in the back so I was covered)

I did. I bought a cheap, knee-length one from Target. I wore it while I was walking around trying to get my contractions going. It was nice because it covered my backside.

Yes, I brought a big fluffy one. I wore it when walking around the ward to get my contractions started and after baby was born when the nurses suggested we take a walk to get out of the room.

Yes, I brought a short robe and I was so happy i had it because I had an emergency c-section and was in the hospital for 5 days. It was nice to be able to wear that with my nursing tank in the hospital and not feel super exposed going back and forth between my room and the NICU.

@JerricaBenton: Excited for you!
I bought a fluffy over-sized one that goes below the knee too.

I brought one but never used it. I was burning up during abs after the birth and just wore one of DH's button-down shirts (short-sleeved, Hawaiian-print

I did, but never used it. I stayed in the hospital gown until the day we left the hospital.

Yes, my big fluffy knee length one was the best thing ever! I had my husband pick it up the next day since I didn't think to bring it. I had to walk through the entire hospital to get to the NICU every 3 hours to feed, so it was warm and comforting, a total lifesaver. Definitely will be the first thing in my hospital bag next time!

I picked up a maternity one from a clearance rack to take with me! Sometimes those hospital gowns are a little thin

Yes I did! I walked around while in labor and it was nice to cover my butt so I wasn't flashing everyone. I had a c-section so I stayed at the hospital for a longer period of time. I used it to cover my butt whenever I walked around the floor and when I went to get juice.

I brought SO's robe and im so glad i did!
I had a c section and was there for 5 days and all 25 of his family visited

The first time I didn't and I wish I had because I had the most -awful- pajamas that I wore around the maternity ward. They were practically see through and I didn't know it until after I had them on! This time around, I've packed more opaque clothing, a shrug, and a robe. Just to be comfy. Plus my sweatshirt if I get chilled. All prepared

I brought a short robe and wore it walking the halls before labor and back and forth between NICU with panama pants. It was a bit short, but I wouldn't have wanted a full length.
Take one, that way you won't be wishing you had... If you don't use it, then, no big.

I didn't and wouldn't have used it but I'm not modest. I did wear my uggs when I wasn't in bed though!

I brought a lightweight cotton robe from Target, and I wore it around the hospital after the baby was born.
