I took my first initial pregnancy test when DH was at work, then had to wait the 6 or so hours for him to get home! I took a few after that to confirm but took those ones when DH was home.

He was in the living room watching tv. I was only 8dpo so I didn't tell him I was taking one because I thought it was too early. When the faintest of lines popped up I immediately ran into the living room screaming!

Always alone because I used FMU (except for my BFP which I happen to take at night.. also alone). I usually felt silly testing so often so didn't want to drag him into it

I took mine when he was still sleeping. Then I went back to bed, and got back up 2 mins later to take a picture of the tests. He was like what are you doing? I said nothing, went and took the picture. Then I got back into bed and asked him if he was up, it was 7 on a Sunday, and he said kind of, and I told him. He then went back to sleep when I ended up going to the couch cause I couldn't sleep.

Alone the first time and with DH the second!

For my DD, I was feeling late. I asked him if I should test and wait another week and he drove me to the store to get a test. As soon as we got home I POAS and we watched it turn positive.

My first pregnancy he was in the hospital for a surgery. I told him over the phone, it was night time so I wasn't going until morning and I couldn't wait. I ended up having a miscarriage though....
My second pregnancy I took the test at 4 in the morning, so he was sleeping. But I woke him up of course.

Alone, but I called DH at work and made him come home so that I could tell him the news.

I've taken them all on my own. DH is always home, but I just say "I just took a test.. not this month."

I was alone when I got my BFP. And DH was really late getting home from work that night (didn't get home until close to 8 and I think I tested shortly after 4). I was BURSTING to tell him!

I don't remember aside from the month I got a positive - I took it Saturday night and it was positive, he wasn't home. Sunday morning I took another and he was home, so I called him upstairs. Nothing exciting, sadly, lol!

I poas alone but the month I knew it was positive I made him read the results.

I was too chicken both times. He even was kind enough to distract me while we waited for the results.

He was home but sleeping. It was a surprise (I have endo, so an awesome surprise!) so I wanted to think of a fun way to tell him. I had to wait 15 excruciating hours to do so, since we both worked and then had a meeting that night!

I dropped DH off at the airport, went home and POAS. Unfortunately he was on a flight to Australia and didn't find out for another two days. It was weird to have my first few weeks of pregnancy by myself, but he did bring back some adorable koala stuffed animals.

I started using wondfo's at 7 dpo and DH knew I was testing, but I honestly was super low key about it because I didn't think it was our month at all. I just mentioned in passing that I was testing like it was no big deal. Then when I saw a line after the five minute mark on 8 dpo he started watching the lines appear with me after that!

He was almost always around (usually still sleeping) when I took them. I didn't always tell him about the early ones since i knew they'd prob be negative, but I knew I couldn't wait and hold in the news all day if he wasn't home.
The only time I took one when he was not home (he was on a business trip, getting home that night) was also the only time I ever got an evap line. I got so psyched up during the day, waiting to take another one, hoping it was real and not evap, and then I got my period. Then he came home to a drunk crying mess, so I did not do that again!
The month I got the BFP, he asked me when I would start taking a test around 8 dpo, so he knew I was doing it every morning. I got a faint squint at it BFP on Friday, made him come in and look and tell me if he saw it too, then on Saturday, I came back in to bed and asked if he was ready to be a dad.

Alone. I want to reveal the BFP in my planned out way.

He was home, but usually didn't know I was taking it. When I got both BFPs I tested early early early in the AM and crawled back into bed to tell him.

I've never had a BFP but I've taken the others with him home. I'm starting to think I'd like to surprise him but with moving to IUI I'm not sure that's an option anymore!

He was on his computer when I took it. I freaked out by myself for a few minutes and then brought him the stick!

I did it alone---honestly, it was our first month NTNP, and I didn't even really think I *could* be pregnant, but when I was 2-3 days late, I finally figured I should test.
I did it after work and the blue line showed up immediately--within seconds--so I just put my coat back on and ran out to look for a onesie to suprise my husband with when he got home.

Alone. I don't really like peeing in front of him... I took it at work and didn't tell him I was taking it. I told him that evening.

dh was around for this one. I had been on a week long trip with ds without him, and the whole time I felt pregnant, and kept telling him. We were both dying to know, so the night I got home, I took the test.
With ds, my ex was sleeping and I didn't wake him and told him later.

SO was working late and i took one by myself because I was feeling sick. Did *not* expect a BFP.
It was excrutiating waiting for him to come back home.

Just want to point out DH was HOME, but NOT in the bathroom! I'd sit in there and wait for the 5 minutes or whatever then come back into the bedroom and tell him the results. I only showed him the positive pee sticks, the rest got tossed.

I do it alone now. The first few months he insisted on being there too, but now I do it more often and it's never positive anyway so I just do it by myself.
Someday it will be positive though, and then I'll get to surprise him

I believe that bathroom time is private time, so I'm alone! Usually he isn't home, but after my short-lived BFP I think I'd like to have him home next time.
