Tried temping but didn't tell me anything new, now I track cm and do OPKs when I see the fertile stuff. If I didn't track O it'd drive me mad not knowing when AF was due and if we BD at the right time. Plus I wouldn't have discovered my LPD.

I tracked with OPKs and charting. OPKs told me when my body was gearing up to ovulate and I confirmed ovulation through charting.
Fertilityfriend.com had (probably still has?) an online "course" that I took. Every day for a month or so they emailed me a "lesson" about how to chart and track my fertility (not just temping but also CM and CP). I liked it because it gave me information in small portions so I didn't get overwhelmed.

I started out temping then moved to OPKs and then bought the Fertility Monitor (so much easier and worth the money).

I temped and used opks, I tried to track cm too but it was really hard for me to judge. Opk + temping seemed to help me pinpoint O pretty well.
Temping also proved to be super helpful in other ways - I had a lot of implantation bleeding (thought it was AF) and it would have taken me a lot longer to figure out I was pregnant if I hadn't been temping.

Yes. CM and cramping mostly but I used OPKs the last month before I got pregnant with this pregnancy.

It's a little pricy, but I bought a LadyComp (fertility monitor, you only have to take your temp every day with the attached thermometer, thats it) and I can't say enough good stuff about it. Red light on fertile days and blinky light the day you ovulate. Doesn't get easier than that! (Also, our HSA reimbursed us for the full cost of the LadyComp so if you have one it could be free)

This is just my first cycle Of charting but i'm doing the whole shebang, if my ovulation is as predictable and regular as the rest Of my period though i might not bother once we actually start ttc

I used FF to track everything (temp, cm, opk). It's crazy how in tune I was with my body. I will def do it again when we TTC for #2.

Temping was so consistent for me that after awhile I quit the cbefm (opks were too frustrating for me). And I casually paid attention to cm, no manual checks for me!

I used an app that told me when my fertile days likely were based on my LMP. It worked!

opks and cm...though I started to just rely on the opks as my cm didn't seem to look as it should for the cycles leading up to when we conceived.

I've been using OPKs and temping since our second cycle TTC. I went straight from BC to TTC and wanted to be sure I was Oing and when. Now, since we've been trying awhile, I can also tell when I'm about to O or already have based on CM.

I used FF, but ONLY to track my period and have it guess what days I might be fertile. I sometimes noticed CM and put it on my chart, as well as other things (fatigue, cramps, etc). I am a total type-A overanalyzer, and adding temps or opks would have made me stress out even more about it. I figured I'd add those if it took us awhile, but we got pregnant 4 cycles off bc, which was really 3 cycles trying because we missed one cycle in the middle because of traveling

Temping, CM, OPKs and Clear Blue Fertility Monitor - got pregnant on the second cycle. (But I had been charting--temp/CM--for a year before we even started TTC because I wanted to get to know my cycle and because I have very bad irregular bleeding that made me concerned we would have a hard time conceiving).

Tempting and OPK. With DHs travel schedule we couldn't just BD every other daytime like most can. Plus I am too much of a control freak. I like knowing we times it right.

I said other because the first 3-4 cycles I only tracked my periods on FF. After getting frustrated with that I tried temping but would always give up around day 19/20 utterly convinced I wasn't ovulating even though I always had a regular period (well bleeding anyhow). My sixth and seventh cycles I used opks and finally saw that elusive smiley face on day 19! I got pregnant our 7th cycle and it seems we were BDing too early bc of what FF predicted!
