Has anyone used these?
We went out to eat with friends last night and I was pleasantly surprised when my friend pulled out a disposable table mat for her DS. I usually hook LO's Lobster to the table and wipe the area down, but these mats are so awesome.
I didn't feel good putting food on restaurant tables for her to pick up and eat, but problem solved now!

We did for a short period but then the LO was fine using the small bread plate so then we stopped. They are a great idea though!

We have a non-disposable one that we just roll up and clean when we get home. It worked great. Like Andrea, we eventually were able to just give him a plate provided by the restaurant.

We use those for now. Once my son stops picking up plates to bang on the table we'll give him a plate instead.

Yep, we love those. Especially because Baby Y often likes to "eat" the edge of the table right now.

I carry these with me in my bag at all times cause they are so useful. So much easier and cleaner than trying to wipe down a table. Like everyone else, will probably use these 'til she stops trying to move/throw plates.
However, it's not entirely kid-proof though since LO can peel it off if she really wants to.

We haven't needed.them yet. I feel like we might get the kind that you just take home and clean though. I hate throwing things out when I don't have too, and id rather save money and just buy one.

@artbee: I considered the reusable ones too, but I think these are perfect for vacationing. Plus we're all about no hassle-leave the mess at the restaurant.

Yes used those for my eldest LO when she was a baby and we have some now for LO #2. We also have the Tiny Diner one that you can reuse and roll up in your diaper bag. I like that one too because it has a little pocket at the edge that catches bits of food, plus it's more eco-friendly I guess.

We use TinyDiner (non-disposable) mats in every restaurant. I love it because it has suction cups and a scoop that dangles over the front edge. It catches all the food they pull toward themselves.

We never had them. we would simply have a little plate or wipe down the surface 2-3 times.

@Sha: mine Just started doing that, along with ripping off his bib. Sigh. We just had to wipe everything down really well.

I have both the disposable ones (I should bought the ToysRUs brand ones cause they were cheaper) and the non-disposable one in my diaper bag. We used the disposable ones a lot until LO starting peeling them off the table. Now we use the non-disposable one since it has little suction cups on the bottom so it's as little harder for him to pull on it. I love both though!
