Sometimes I will ask him if he wants help (if I think that will even work), otherwise, nope. If he won't eat he won't eat and I don't feel like he'll starve. He eats pretty well at daycare so I know he'll be fine until breakfast.

Nope. I'll try one thing like asking him to take 2 more bites or something, but I'm overall not concerned. Hes a generally good eater though so I know he'll make up for it at the next meal.

I try not to...but it depends how he has eaten the rest of the day.

Nope. We follow the Satter's division of responsibility. I decide what, when, where. You decide whether and how much. Except we require one bite of each thing.

No, not anymore. I used to obsess over it but now I just say, "you don't have to eat it." If she says she isn't hungry I will tell her to just put a little bit on her plate and eat.

Sometimes I will encourage her to try something but I won't get upset or make a big deal out of it. She knows she won't get any kind of snack or milk later if she doesn't eat dinner (she will just get leftovers) so that seems to work for us.
