Honestly, I don't. I usually make enough food to feed myself so I just save theirs or toss it. Probably a waste but my kids are kind of gross eaters, especially my youngest!

No. But she's 1.5 so a lot of things go in the mouth then spit out then thrown then retrieved then thrown on the floor. Also I feed her much healthier than I generally eat lol.

No because I've promised all their leftovers to the dog. He especially appreciates when they don't finish their scrambled eggs for breakfast.

When DD was little, I sure did! Some kiddie food is yummy & guilty-pleasurish. Homemade chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, goldfish crackers. Now at age 6, she cleans her plate and there is never ANY unfinished food!

Totally depends. I really shouldn't, though. My mom said she got sick all the time when we were little until our ped told her to stop eating off our plates. She stopped getting sick.

When I was pregnant I would frequently finish any protien she left on her plate, especially if I was trying make sure DH had enough food when he came home lol not so much lately though. I usually just toss it.

@Mamaof2: I seriously was gaining weight from this! He doesn't eat a lot and I would end up eating half of his sandwich after eating my own.

Only if I'm still hungry and it's something I want - then I'll pick at it. But usually no.

Nope. DH does though. He could use the extra calories I was feeding the leftovers to the dog until he gained 15 lb in a year.

Sometimes - exactly what @Autumnmama79: said too! Chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, goldfish

I have a friend who said she lost five pounds just by quitting eating her kids' leftovers! Ha!

Not usually. She has a bowl to put food in when she's done with it so she doesn't throw it on the floor. You'd have to be pretty hungry to eat the contents of that bowl!

If it hadn't gotten too gross, yes. If not I add to my lunch for the next day or wrap it up for her. Or the dog gets it. Waste not, want not!
