@swedishfish: Noooooo that's not what I meant to invoke at all. I'm sorry. Everyone has a dream - whether it be you want 1 LO, or you want more, or whatever. These things bring out the best and the worst in us. Don't feel guilty. You are going for your dream, and all you can do is hope, pray and try, which is what you're doing. If anything, I'm jealous of a supportive DH that is doing this with you lol I'll say it - My DH sucks monkeys right now. lol

I had a complete breakdown in December and threw in the towel. I stuck with it because id already taken clomid, so I figured why waste the money?

It sucks big time. I hope this is your month!

You're so close to transfer - don't give up now! Just remember that your hormones are crazy right now and you're probably feeling everything so much stronger right now because of it. The PIO sucks (I bled from a lot of the injections too, but my cycle worked!) but it will be worth it! Sending you hugs!

I'm also rooting for you!! You can do it!! You are almost there!! It will all be worth it really soon!!

I'm sorry you're having a tough time with this cycle, you're so close to being done tho! And don't feel guilty, you want multiple children (as most of us do) and the fact that you have to go through so much more than many to get that is really hard!

It's a very difficult journey and I think you are absolutely brave for going through such an invasive procedure for a chance at the ability to have a child. Its not selfish at all for you to want a child to raise and love, nor is it selfish to wish for your LO to have a sibling to share in the joys of life together. Good luck!

The only women that I ever hear say they feel guilty for complaining because they have a LO are those struggling to conceive/battling infertility. It's just so sad any of us have to feel that way. You deserve as many LOs as you would like to have!

Hang in there, you can do it! I think you might regret throwing in the towel now, as much as it's understandable to Have those feelings.

@swedishfish: I absolutely know what you're feeling. When I was in the midst of an FET, I remember driving to work and just freaking the F out. A calm then washed over me, and I thought to myself, "If this doesn't work, I'm done with it. We will move on to other options." I just. Couldn't. Do. It. The raging hormones, the fury at those who get pregnant easily (without paying thousands, on top of it), the feeling of utter injustice of the whole thing. It makes perfect sense, and you shouldn't push the feelings aside- it will only make it worse.

I'm so sorry. Please don't feel guilty, this is a tough journey you're on but I'm sure you'll have great news for us soon after the transfer. Good luck with it, I'm rooting so hard for you!

@swedishfish: All the time! I think I've "thrown in the towel" at least a dozen times over the years because it can all be just so much! The horrible needles, all the dr. appt's, the thousands of dollars, the hormones from all the drugs...it can be totally overwhelming and it just stinks that any of us have to go through it. But you are just three days away now!! I'm so excited for you! Oh, and do not feel guilty for feeling how you do since you have a child. I feel the same as you. I want our son to have a brother/sister more than anything. The pain of knowing it may never happen is almost too much sometimes. I just know your transfer Thursday is going to go great! Hang in there...you are almost there.

At this point, I'm hopeful because of my recent diagnosis of PCOS. I do get discourage when friends get pregnant so easily. They don't have to think of the word baby and boom they are pregnant.
