E woke up briefly a bit ago, and was back down within a few seconds of me getting in there, but rather than leave I picked him up and cuddled with him in a recliner for a bit. He almost immediately sprawled across me, back to chest, and started snoring, lol! I feel like he's growing so fast and I won't have a lot of opportunities to cuddle, so I want to get them now...I needed a 5 minute fix

Aww! I always wake my daughter up from her afternoon nap if it goes too late. I don't want anything to mess with bedtime. She's pretty amenable to being woken up from nap, so I know it works for her.

I never wake her up, but if she falls asleep on me I stay there cuddling for a reallllly long time. Haha, DH thinks bedtime takes 45 minutes but in reality she's asleep in 5 and cuddled for the rest of the time

Aww that's precious! We cosleep so I get a lot of snuggles and I wouldn't trade them for the world

@MrsMccarthy: You know, I was definitely thinking tonight that I missed co-sleeping a bit...at least tonight, and was debating just bringing him into bed with me! (he's too restless a sleeper, and our bed is too small for me to actually do it...I'll sleep with him on the futon in his room when he's sick or just wants mama, but I don't sleep well there...restless sleeper + light sleeper does not equal a well rested mama, lol!
