my toddler still takes a 2 hour nap if I time it right. she was up way early this morning, though, and we have to leave this afternoon for an appt during her usual nap so I'm going to try early.
I'm exhausted and looking forward to a little break

Good luck! Blake woke up late and I'm hoping to leave at 9 to work out, so I put him down early. I can hear him rolling around and grumbling on the monitor, so it's not really working. But he's not crying, so it's a little bit of a win? Alice got up at 5:15 so it was no problem to put her down with plenty of time to sleep before we leave at 9!

I do when I'm solo parenting because baby sister needs to go down.ETA oh wait this is nap. Nope, if it hasn't been 6 hours since wake up she will not nap and freak out.

Oh yeah. Usually it's because she's being a PITA and is over tired anyways, so putting her down early usually works well for us

Haha, yes! And it never works. He stands in the crib and laughs at me! Our bed is next to the crib though, so at least I get to lie down for ten minutes while I'm "putting him to bed".
