I fed Olive shrimp for the first time today. I looooove shellfish, but Mr. bee doesn't like it that much so we rarely eat it.
Do you feed your LO shellfish? What age did you first introduce it? Or if you don't have an LO, how often do you cook shellfish?

L is 8 months old. We haven't tried any shellfish with her yet.
We don't eat much shellfish at home... I might make a shrimp stirfry like once a month or something, but that's it.

I love shellfish too! We didn't feed our first shellfish for a long time, but he doesn't like it anyway. He just likes playing with the clam shells. I have fed my younger one some crabcakes and shrimp. She doesn't mind. Love cooking shrimp - quick and easy.

I really like shrimp and prawns and stuff. I use it in curry or stir fry and sometimes in pasta. We probably only have it once every couple months though

Only shrimp once in a while. My son loves shrimp tempura so we'll let him eat that once in a while.

I haven't yet for fear of allergies even though no one we know has any. I LOVE shellfish, so maybe I should just let LO try when I make shrimp pasta later this week.

And I've never even seen in sold raw here except at an "Asian Bus" that sells groceries - you actually have to go inside the bus to buy stuff. Maybe they sell it at the Thai store too ... now I have to find out!

I gave DD 2 shellfish slightly after she turned 1. Then, her new ped told me afterwards that she usually recommends to wait til kids turn 2... Well, we already gave it and she did fine! She gets shellfish about once every two weeks, I'd say. Grandma cooks it for her

LO probably had shrimp for the first time around age 1, and probably has it once or twice a month. He's also tried crab cakes, maybe around 15 months?

I've given LO crab and shrimp. I forget how old she was when I first gave her shrimp..
I think she's had some canned clam (in clam chowder).

DS has had shrimp and crab... He loves it all. I think he's been having it from 10 or 11 months.

Not yet, her allergist wants us to get her tested for allergies first and we haven't taken her yet. Since she has a nut allergy, I've been in no rush to give her shellfish.
