I don't think I do--maybe some tingles in the early days, but now nothing. Do you? What does it feel like?

I never did - totally wondered what it would feel like.
Although, I also had horribly low supply, so that probably had something to do with it...

I didn't the first couple of months but noticed it more when we started the weaning process.

I couldn't for the first month, but now I can feel it, and it's painful!

Yup. It's a tingly sensation. For me, it's not painful, it just feels...weird. It only lasts a few seconds though.

In the beginning I didnt feel it I guess because I was just in general agony, but after about 2 or 3 months I Could definitely feel it. It was painful for me, just very tingly

yes, i could feel it starting around 4-6 weeks. for me it's a very strong tingling sensation combined with pressure--it almost feels like my nipple area has fallen asleep is has pins and needles. it only lasts a little bit so i can't say it's painful, but it's not just a light tingling.

Sometimes I feel it. I feel it more when I pump than when he nurses. It's a weird tingling feeling.

I do now - but in the beginning, like the first few months I didn't feel it at all!! How weird is that? And when i started feeling it it was really intense! still feel it now at 9.5 months. Maybe you will feel it later like me?
Hope you are doing well!

Not when I'm pumping, but when I'm holding DS prior to pumping or am breast feeding him, I can feel the let down in my other boob.

Not in the first month or so, but now I feel it every time. The first one is always tingly like pins and needles and the later ones are more like a slight pressure in the nipple.

so interesting that it is pretty divided. in the behginning it sort of felt like my boob had fallen asleep, but it was never consistent...don't know if that is it?
@hellobeeboston: thank you doing great, i wish i knew in the beginning how things would feel at 9 weeks! so, so much better.

I did for about 6 months. I would feel like...like the way your stomach drops when you go down an elevator? Then I would be hit with a wave of almost unbearable thirst...I would be near tears if I didn't have a water bottle within arms reach...and then finally it would tingle.

I has tingles the day my milk came in but have felt NOTHING since then

I feel a little nauseous (not much, but I kind of lose my appetite). It doesn't really happen when nursing anymore, just when pumping.

I get the tingling/pins and needles feeling when I need to feed LO, but I don't get it when I start feeding him, if that makes any sense.

I always did when I nursed DS. It was almost a cold tingling sensation and it was very strong.

yes, and it was borderline painful! I could feel it start right back in the milk ducts, like tingly pressure. then I would feel it move up towards the nipple. it was like my nipple was swelling, and had pins and needles at the same time. very weird feeling. it gradually got less and less as LO got older. I think I noticed it was gone at 5 or 6 months?

Yes and like others have said, it's a slightly painful, tingly sensation...
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Nope! 5 months and I have no idea what it feels like. I only know it's happening because I can see that it did (when pumping) or I can hear Xander start gulping.
