Only in that I don't want her to heckle me for more food later, or to wake up hungry. I also don't want her to neglect her protein intake. Beyond that, she can do what she wants. She won't starve!

Um yeah. We were in the NICU an extra 6 weeks just because of feeding issues. How he ate determined my mood for the day!

I worry that he's not eating enough but I don't get upset. I figure he'll eat when he's hungry....hopefully, not in the middle of the night.

No. Lo is a big girl, so I know she's not going to starve and be under weight. And if she's hungry, shell eat. If not, she'll wait until the next meal or snack.

@chopsuey119: yep! I still kind of panic. I always suggest other things which I know is a no no. Oh well Future Me will fix that later!

She's still exclusively bfed and if she doesn't eat well it feels very personal, like it's my fault. Especially after resident doc told me her weight had dropped a percentile and I should supplement. First of all, she won't take a bottle, Dr Guilt Trip and secondly, if she would, I'd give her pumped milk in it. Grrrr, sometimes doctors really don't help.

I do only because he has such a limited diet and everything he eats is so important. He hasn't been eating well at all lately and is now even refusing the foods he was eating consistently...so frustrating.
