I have a good eater but he def went through a no veggies stage (I'm sure only the first of many)... and he def gets sick of food so we need to keep mixing things up!

She's always been a goo eater, however we are just starting to experience some pickiness. She just wants cheese...nothing else. And last night she would only eat the pork and picked out all the red peppers from the veggie mix and ate those. everything else she said "yuck" too even though she ate them a couple days ago!

I hope one day DS becomes a good eater....all he will eat are carbs or sweets (or anything from a pouch)! Texture issues, I think!

@ValentineMommy: at 2.5 years old I'm waiting for my son to become a good eater too. Carbs, cookies and pouches are some of his favorites too. Sigh!

@ValentineMommy: sorry I think he had issues with textures too. He wouldn't eat any stage 3 foods and we had a very hard transition away from purées. He just isn't willing to try anything new and sticks with the few foods he likes. Incredibly frustrating. We have to bring our own food wherever we go. Basically he's a snacker kind of kid.

I hope someone has! LO is 13mo and has always been a great eater. We've gone through short two day periods here and there where he will go on a veggie strike but it never lasts. I'm dreading the really picky stages.

So far, yes. But she's just over a year so there's still time for pickiness.
But at the moment she'll eat anything and everything. And I have to limit the quantities because if I didn't she would just eat ALL THE FOOD.

Yes I'm jealous too. My nearly 4 YO is a picky eater, but she's slowly starting to expand her palette. My 18 month old was a star eater, but is starting to reject some vegetables.

@Dagny: Me too! I'm loving the freedom! We're close to 16 months, and she still eats anything and everything.
@heartonastring: Oh man, I seriously told L's Ped that I was concerned she was actually eating too much - sometimes she just never stops eating, and I KNOW her stomach has to have a stretching limit! But she told me I was crazy and that babies can't eat too much... If you say so Dr...

I'm sure I'm jinxing myself but my almost 17 mo old hasn't really been very picky. There are some nights when she's really tired that she gets fussy and will only eat certain things and certain ways but she will generally eat anything we give her.
