Or are you deep in the stages of parenting that keep baby fever far, far away?

I only seem to get baby fever when I have a newborn lying on my chest. Otherwise I'm mostly immune.
We are in such a good groove with our 21 month old.

@youboots: We have a 21 month old too and same thing, everything is going great these days and I feel like things are finally about as equal as possible between my husband and I.
But it has the opposite affect on me, I definitely have baby fever I'm like, ok I can do this. LO finally mostly STTN so I can imagine being pregnant now. Whereas before NO.
Each night I lie awake in bed for a few minutes and think about when we should start trying. So yea, pretty sure that's baby fever.

I have the fever for the baby that's in my belly! April can't come fast enough!

I feel like it changes daily for me. We have a 2 yo and a 4 yo and are still trying to decide if we want a 3rd. We have two friends who just had a baby and several who just announced a pregnancy so it's on my mind a lot!

I had the fever really bad before I got pregnant with #3. Now, I'm 20 weeks and trying to savor this pregnancy because it will be my last!
I'm crazy and tend to get baby fever while mine are still babies- and that's why the age gaps will all be 20-21 months apart

Nope. I had raging baby fever when S was an adorable, easy going, way more fun than her colicky sister ever was 0-6 month old. Now she's a grumpy, teething, non-sleeping 8.5 month old, I can safely say I have joined my husband in the two and through camp. I'm so done with babies!

Nope... I better get some in the next 8 months.

@Mrs. Pickle: ok this just blows my mind!
As for me-nope! I'm happy to be done!!

I'm done, so no baby fever here. My 18 month old falls asleep on me when he's super tired. I love and savor it. I want my sleep back, so I'm cool with two boy kids.

No fever here! DS is 3, so know clue if we will eventually have another or let him be an only child.

@mediagirl: Nope no fever at this point, I'm balancing a 3 month old and 4 year old

@Mrs. Pickle: ha! Congrats! Does this mean this was a surprise pg?
nectarine / 2973 posts
LOL NO. My 6 month old is way too needy for me to have baby fever. I told DH I was getting him a vasectomy for xmas. (not really, we want a third. But this baby is wearing me out!)

@Mrs. Pickle: wow congrats!!
I kind of do just because we want 3 and I want to be done! But dd is 6 months so we def aren't trying yet.

Sorta but 1. it's not an option right now and 2. I feel like some of it is because others with LOs the age of mine are TTC so I feel like I should be too? Lame, I know.
grapefruit / 4089 posts
Yes, big time. Fingers are crossed that TTC is a short and sweet process for us, but who knows...
pomegranate / 3127 posts
Yes. This is so wrong. We just got our 16 month old to sleep through the night, everyone is sick for the umpteenth time, the four year old's behavior is making me wonder if one of us is insane, and I'm not ruling out the possibility that at this time next year we'll be trying to sneak into Canada on foot. I've got to keep that fever in check.

@youboots: @mfa_lady: @Purpledaisy: @Mrs. Champagne: thank you!
@mediagirl: yep! We always thought conceiving on our own without any interventions would be impossible. Life is full of surprises! I'll get less guarded after we have an ultrasound and good genetic test results.

@Mrs. Pickle: congratulations!!
As for me, pregnant with number 2! So baby fever has been taken care of! But before so much!
pomegranate / 3904 posts
Nope, but only because I have a colicky, reflux-y 7 week old. Give me a few months and I bet I'll have it again lol
nectarine / 2951 posts
NO! We are done. But we are in the midst of snuggling and kissing our 6 month old DS2.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
Nope Nope Nope. We are done and have a really cute 4 month old
