Because I'm such a newb...
It just dawned on me that I could have a late period and still get a BFN. And still be as confused as all get out....and not know what was going on with my cycle.
I was thinking that it was like always two sides of a coin or something..
Missed Period? BFP.
Period? BFN.
Missed Period? BFN? NOT COOL.

Oh man, that sucks and happened to me last month - my period was over a week late and I was symptom spotting any time my stomach felt the tiniest bit upset or I felt more tired than usual. Turns out it was just my cycle getting all wonky. Got my hopes up and wasted about a million pregnancy tests!

Thanks for pointing this out-I guess I'd thought about it as a possibility but it would REALLY REALLY SUCK. I've planned to take an HPT with a late period......and with a BFN would assume I had ovulated late. Sigh. What a journey this is!

Yeah. I stopped testing today, because I thought to myself, "Good Lord. I'm just wasting these things."
I don't want a wonky cycle. I've never had one before, but I have to come to terms with the fact that sometimes nature does funny things.
