I've been to two, but missed one... Bee went to that though! She is 3 for 3.
Bee said some kids were bawling because their parents weren't at the school play. There sure are a lot of school events, and all of them are doing work hours... it's tough on parents. I don't think Charlie noticed I wasn't there though, phew!
Do you make it to all the school plays and events?

Yep, I think I've been everything. I missed one field trip last year I was invited to chaperone at, due to being hugely pregnant, but other than that, I've been there.

So far I have, but I know I can't keep that streak up. My hours are going to be less flexible and I am DREADING my child's reaction. I think it's great if one parent can be there, but for totally nonsexist reasons I think it's harder if mom misses. Just because almost all the other moms are usually there, and fewer dads, so a toddler can be like, "Everyone else's mom is here, where is mine?"

I sure try to. Ellie is having her school Holiday play right in the middle of Lorelei's nap. 
I am going to attend the rehearsal earlier in the day, and stay and have lunch with her, and then Mr. T and his mom and dad are going to attend the actual event. Ellie seemed pretty happy with that. Other than that I haven't missed anything, unless you count Bingo for Books (which we were supposed to take Ellie TO and spaced out about). We were all bummed to miss it.

No plays but they do have several parties a year that parents are invited too - I try to go to 1-2 but not all

I wouldn't miss something like a play or field trip but I have missed many little events like pancake breakfasts.

Yes I always go to everything. It's tough with work, but I specifically set aside my days off for things like that

So far we've made it to all his performances. The other school events/parties, we weren't able to go to all.
