I've been pumping 3 times a day (am, noon, pm) while nursing, she prefers the right side so it seems that I'm only pumping on the left side. My left side has always been the bigger side, is this going to make me even more lopsided? lol

I don't *have* to pump except to make a small freezer stash in case we want an evening out. I usually pump the right because the left has never really responded to the pump that well - the suction never just felt as solid as the other side.

If I went through the trouble of pumping I usually just did both. But if you are just doing a single side, I would try to alternate. Or go ahead and pump the right as well!

I always pump both sides, but I also always nurse both sides too, so...
But, like @T.H.O.U.: said - I would probably try to alternate if I were you. Xander prefers my left, but I always force him to start on whichever side we left off on, in the hopes of having them even out a bit, haha.

If I bother getting the pump out, i do both, even if I fed from one side recently and don't get much from it. I feel like the auction is better for both sides that way anyway (but the one time I pumped one side I probably just didn't plug that hole up well, to be fair).
I also feed both sides and make her switch starting sides to help keep things even. I don't want one to stop producing as much even if she does favor one side. She used to seem to prefer the right but now she's the same on both.

I pump from both sides even if DS only eats from one.
