LO eats what we eat for meals, but loves pouches, yogurt melts, and Nibbly Fingers as snacks. She pretty much hates fruit in its natural form, so we tend to get it to her that way. Is it worth it to buy them from Amazon?

The answer is sometimes. At this point we do most of our food buying from Amazon for him but that is because we can't get his snacks from anywhere in town. He cries every day after school if he can't have is "buuuhhhddddeees". I just personally liked having a stash. BUT you pretty much have to buy a bunch of one type (so all one flavor).

@brownie: I think we would be okay with one kind. She's not terribly picky in that way. I haven't tried the shreds, but I will. She seems to prefer Plum over other brands.

I get a gargantuan delivery of pouches from Amazon every month through S&S. We get four or five boxes (of 12 pouches each). LO thinks the UPS dude is a god as a result of these deliveries. The UPS dude undoubtedly thinks I order boxes of bricks.
It is kind of pricey, but the ones I get have no cr** in them, so I feel no guilt about giving him this "packaged" food. (Okay, a tiiiiiny bit of guilt about the actual packaging, but not much. I make all the rest of the stuff we eat, and I almost never use disposable containers.) I am willing to trade cash for convenience when the convenience does not involve preservatives, extra sugar, or food coloring. The pouches we get are organic.

I have found that the Plum organics pouches are cheapest if you do amazon subscribe and save and have 5 things delivered at once (that gives you an extra % off).
