Lets get real. I pushed 2 8+lb babies out of my vagine.
My first was stuck for 2 hours while I pushed and pushed.
My second came out in 14 minutes.
HAHA.

@Sweet T: Same here, haha!
I was so worried that when we had sex post-baby it would be like pushing a vacuum down a hallway, but I was very very happily mistaken!

@Sweet T: @FutureMrsMcK: Same!!!
I was surprised but the answer is no! I pushed for less than half an hour though. Not sure how much that comes into play.

No, it's so painful now because its the exact opposite! I think OB did too good a job fixing the tears..

Yes! But it is a positive for me - I was too tight before. I pushed for 2+ hours.

Yes. But I'm only 9 weeks PP so I'm hoping things are still tightening up? Hopefully? Please Lord?
The first time we DTD after she was born I had zero pain whatsoever. So I guess that is a good thing. But I've been doing kegels ever since....

So far I've only pushed one.... I think I bounced back

At first yes it was loser but now at 4 months pp I'm almost tighter then before. We rarely get frisky because I usually choose sleep so maybe that has helped tighten it back up.

I don't think so. I pushed for less than 40 minutes, and had a second degree tear with one stitch. When we got involved, it felt fine, even snug.

@Mrs.B: haha EXACTLY this.
I am so like you @chopsuey119: 2 8+ babies pushed out the vagine (hehe), pushed 3 hours with the stuck #1 and #2 came out in 15 mins!
At first it was DEFINITELY looser, so loose that I was afraid my internal organs were gonna spill out. I was seriously freaked out and my OB confirmed that my bladder was really low, but that was normal and not concerning at all. Now things are so tight and dry that I dEFINITELY choose sleep.... poor WS.

@mrs. wagon: 'I choose sleep' - meee too!
quite the opposite. I had a million stitches from a giant episiotomy, it's like I'm born anew!

Opposite for me. I had second degree tears. The attending OB stitched me really well. My husband and I joke about getting that extra "re-virgin" stitch.

Pushed for almost 3 hours with a 6 lbs baby with no stitches. It's tighter, and I have no clue how that is possible.

I'm sure it was at first but now...let's not discuss the lack of us time due to well...you know....
(humming Madonna....)

After the first two I honestly felt tighter, although I bet we were DTD a lot less often. We haven't DTD since DD 3 was born.

Opposite for me too - second degree tears. Feels like the first time, every time! The things we do for our babies!

Opposite for me. I had a 2nd degree tear. Apparently my OB is a great seamstress. It's still pretty painful 9 months pp.

At first, it was super loose, but now it seems like it's tighter than it ever has been... which can make things uncomfortable sometimes.
@Weagle: I had a super small tear on the inside and it still hurt me 6 months in. My doctor said it takes longer to heal if you're breastfeeding because of the low levels of estrogen. It will get better - I promise!

I only pushed one near 9 lb baby out but I am pretty sure I am just as tight as before if not more since cracking down on kegels! I pushed for almost an hour and had no tears though.

@Lozza: Yeah, I was pretty pleased. I got really lucky in that department.

Wahhhhh!

I am definatly tighter. DH and I joke that they put an extra stitch for good measure.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: LOL
I am definitely the same, as I've had two c-sections. Prob tighter, as there has been no nookie for quite sometime...
