I love my double electric but I also use my manual pump a few times a day. I like it because it is fast and less of a production to set up.
Do you use your manual pump?

I used a manual exclusively while on maternity leave and it worked great and still use it occasionally even though I use my double electric most of the time now !

DD is eight weeks and I just bought a double electric this week. Up until now I'd been using a manual exclusively. I still use the manual for my first morning pump because it's much quieter and I'll continue to use it when I'm away (e.g. we're going to the cottage next weekend and I don't feel like lugging the electric pump). The manual is just so convenient. It even fit in my purse when we attended a wedding recently!

It stays in my desk at work in case I forget a pump part that I need. I've only had to use it once that way.

I rented a double electric, then bought a manual... I like the manual so much better. It takes work, but I can go faster. I only pump occasionally.

@MaisyMay: that's a great idea! I'm paranoid about forgetting something especially with mommy brain.

I have one but I only used it on vacation or day trips w/o DD so that I didn't have to bring my huge pump with us.

I have one, but have only used it once. I don't find it as comfortable as the electric.

I only used my manual and loved it! Granted, I didn't pump very often as I'm a SAHM but I loved my manual - worked quickly, quietly, and had a lot fewer parts to clean!
