After just 2 weeks, my manual pump stopped working. I went and bought another one and clearly printed on the package it says, "not for everyday use." Do you use your pump daily?

I use my electric pump every day. It seems crazy that yours says that!

I use mine (electric) three days a week when I work. I use the manual one once in awhile. I don't see how it would be a problem, but if I were pumping every day I'd definitely want a double electric! So weird it would say that though.

weird that your pump said it wasn't for daily use.. what kind did you get?
i used to use my pump daily when I was bottle and breast feeding and when I was super engorged. I stopped bottle feeding and pumping when my LO was 2.5 months old.

I use my electric everyday. I can't imagine using a manual pump daily. That must take some time!

My manual is a medela. I bought a really expensive double electric pump, but it just doesn't work fast enough for me. I have a high paced job and 45 minutes every 2 hours just doesn't work.

I wouldn't be able to breastfeed (exclusive pumper) without it, and I pump about 8 times a day.

I don't pump everyday. I have a Lansinoh manual one and I don't think that warning is printed on it. It comes with a few replacement parts too

Wonder why a manual isnt supposed to be used daily? Also, how much quicker is it to pump with a manual instead of an electric. I too am having problems with my electric double taking 15 minutes and I'm still not empty.

I think the logic behind that is a manual is supposedly not as gentle. But that said, I only use a manual now -- so much less set-up. While I don't use it daily, I'm sure it would be fine, especially now that I'm all toughened up
I have the Medela pump -- how did yours break? I know that if it gets moisture under the rubber at the top, it seems like the suction dies, but you just need to dry it. I have a Lansinoh manual, and same goes for that.

I have the Avent manual pump and I used it most days for 3 - 4 months. I am in the process of weaning now and still use the pump occasionally but didn't have a problem when using it most days. How did it break ??
