we started introducing a cup of almond milk/ whole milk while we were cutting down her bottles of BM & formula.

We did. Basically, I started introducing whole milk in a sippy during mealtimes and reducing their bottle amounts during the day. By 12 months we had replaced all of their bottles with sippies of milk.

LO is 14 months, drinking whole milk, but still using his bottles. He refuses the sippy cup/straw cup Our pediatrician said it was fine and to try and wean him at a later date at our 12 month visit. This kid just loves his bottles.

We went cold turkey on the daytime bottles, but are still giving him a nighttime bottle. He had no issues at all with switching to cows milk, but he did miss daytime bottles for about 2 weeks. I'm waiting to drop that last bottle once he stops acting like he's going through withdrawals for it. He's 13 months.
