I have seen a few people mention getting tested for urea-plasma and being positive, getting treated, then getting pregnant. I brought the test up to my fertility doc today (we just had a failed IUI, 4th one in a year and a half). He said they don't test for it because research doesn't really support any link between it and infertility. I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this stance from a doctor, and if you decided to be pushy about it or not. I have unexplained infertility, have tested my thyroid, had an HSG, tested progesterone levels, respond well to Clomid, husband has superb semen analysis every time.....I can't help but wonder if there are other tests that might help explain why we haven't been successful. Thoughts and experiences?
