I'm curious-- does a long luteal phase mean that it will take longer for you to get a BFP (if you do get pregnant that cycle)? Most people seem to get their BFP by around 14-15 DPO, but for me, that would still be a few days before AF would be late (I have a looong LP of 16-18 days).
It's only our first cycle trying so I know it probably won't happen anyway, but a girl can dream. And we will be away this weekend for our anniversary so it would be awesome to get a BFP while we are away...
If you have a long LP and got a BFP, when did you get it and how long is your LP usually?
Up until now I always said I would just wait until my period is late, it's stupid to test early. Stupid me, not understanding the level of impatience I'd feel.
