Do you love it?
DS went on nursing strike so I called my insurance company and they're sending me an Ameda for free! He's almost 1 so I just need to pump for a couple months.

I do! It's been a good workhorse for me the past 4 months. No problems thus far, and although I don't believe it's the 'top of the line' pump, it does what it's supposed to do. I will say that the battery life is a joke, though. I'm pretty much tethered to the plug!

I had one and I loved it but I ran it into the ground!

@chopsuey: Glad you are getting one for free. Otherwise I would give you mine to use since you only need for a little bit!

I have one! I've had it almost a year now with no issues! I don't know how it really compares to other brands, but I think it will serve you well.

Another with one of these - I've used this pump exclusively since returning to work when LO was about 12 weeks. The motor started dying after about 8 months of solid use and customer service replaced it for free within 24 hours! I love that it's a closed system, and I have been very happy with it.

i have one! it's my faithful friend. i don't like how the bottles/flanges seem more complicated than medela systems, though, so i've done some macgyver-ing to fit the medela accessories onto the pump.

Yup, I pumped for 13 months with it 2-3x a day!

I got one from my insurance company & haven't really been able to use it because the flanges don't fit & it's so hard to find Ameda accessories. That would be my main complaint - Medela is so much more prominent.

I absolutely hate it, but I pump exclusively. My insurance is sending a hospital grade tomorrow. It's very cheap compared to say, the Medela. Both LC's I worked with couldn't believe how crappy it was. I'm sure it's fine if you aren't exclusively pumping though.
