I haven't been wearing nursing pads lately (or a bra). Of course I work from home so I can do that, but I've found that I'm leaking so little milk that I can get by without wearing nursing pads. I don't even leak when I go 6 hours at night! The only time I leak is from the other boob when Olive is nursing.
Anyone else able to go nursing pad free? I'm kinda sad because that means I must not have that much milk!

I used to leak a lot more. Not as much now and I'll even occasionally sleep without a bra. If it makes you feel any better my mik production is fine, so maybe you shouldn't be too worried about yours.

I haven't worn them since around 6 or 8 weeks. My supply is adequate since she's thriving and gaining weight on breastmilk alone... I wouldn't call that low.
ETA: I think my body just knows how much it needs to make. I have read though that many moms leak for many months while others hardly at all. I'm not sure it's indicative of a supply issue or non-issue.

I leak less, just enough to leave a dark spot on my bra/shirt....... However, I only leak when LO is nursing on the other side or if I go 12+ hrs without nursing.

I'm leaking less now that LO is 12 weeks, but still get a big spot on the opposite side of where she is nursing. Every time I leave the house I do a "shirt check" to make sure I don't need to change.

I had to wear them with Charlie until I weaned. I suppose it's a good thing in a way since I don't have to worry about nursing pads and I'm producing enough milk for Olive anyway...

I never leaked and never had to wear them. I wish I had had to wear them since that would have meant I had plenty of milk but alas . . .

I don't really leak during the day, but I do get really full as she sleeps for more than 4 hours at night and have woken up with a wet shirt.

I haven't used nursing pads since day 1. I never leaked. The only time I may leak now is when she sleeps for 10 hours straight...and I don't leak every time either. So no nursing pads for me. I don't think that means I have a low supply...I am able to pump an extra 10-15 oz per day to build up my freezer stash, and still feed LO plenty. She is thriving and gaining weight. I love the fact I don't have to sleep with a bra or worry about leaking through my clothing.

I had plenty of milk, nursed my daughter for 15 months and NEVER leaked the entire time. I was surprised, but my mom said she was the same way.

I have only ever leaked when DS was actively nursing on the other side. I've never had to worry about wearing them when I wasn't nursing. (Now I don't leak at all no matter what is happening down there)

I used to leak when Liv was nursing on one side, but aside from that, no leaking for me, therefore, no pads

I don't remember leaking much, but I DO remember getting let-down randomly when I wasn't nursing. Thinking about the baby, running around, jumping around. And let-down meant free flowing milk for at least a couple of seconds. So nursing pads were always a 100% necessity.

I haven't ever leaked. My LO is 7 months and was EBF until we started solids at 5 months. I haven't had supply issues, I'm not sure that leaking indicates an adequate supply.

I'm not even nursing yet and I have to wear them...I'm jealous of you all.
But, I'm a freak of nature and have been leaking since like 15 weeks, heavily (to the point of needing nursing pads) since about 18 weeks...

I don't leak either and started solids at 5months, we're at 10 months now. I feel like I'm going to burst after going 8 hours with no feedings but with no leak. Like Cupcake Mama said, no supply issues so that might not be the indicator.

Leaking was minor for the first few months, and then generally only when baby skipped a night feeding. Now that he is mostly dropping that one, too, my body has adjusted and I don't wake up with a wet shirt!
