LO 2's daycare teacher asked us to speed up her eating. Ha, I wish! She eats so slow at mealtimes....even when we withhold snacks and milk.

I know daycare has mentioned that she's had parents work on hitting and biting but (knock on wood) that hasn't been us yet.

@autumnlove: lol, how are you supposed to do that?! I think eating slowly is a good habit!
Daycare feels LO is ready for the final push with potty-training... but they haven't specifically told me to work on it or anything, just suggested she was ready for underwear at home.

@78h2o: She is reeeeeeeallly slow...she likes to watch us eat and stare at her own food. It takes her so long to even attempt her first bite...ugh!

@autumnlove: J's the same way - I found that giving him a reasonable time to finish and then saying, "dinner's done, time to clean up" got him to understand it wasn't an all day event. If he was hungry later, he would eat a better. He would graze all day if I let him.
We're working on potty training at home, but it's hard because during the week we aren't home that often and our weekends have been jam-packed with baby showers, family visiting from out of state, etc.
