I was happily surprised to receive a gift bag from my LO's daycare. Inside it was a gift from her for mom and dad and then a gift to her from santa. they are all relatively cheap gifts but so cute!! There was also a handmade card and santa's beard was made by my Lo's handprint. That was my favorite part.
There was also a small framed photo of her and then a soft toy for her.

They just have the kids make a Xmas ornament every year. I love them. They do gifts for Mother's and Father's day, too.

When DD was in daycare we received a gift made by her for Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's day. I don't recall her getting a gift from them though. However last year the kids did a book exchange during their party.

Last year (infant) we received an ornament with our son's picture. This year (toddler) we received a 2013 calendar they made and each month has a different photo of our son with a special background (new year party, valentines, mother's day, etc). It is super cute. They also made ornaments this year but it wasn't part of the wrapped gift.

Our daycare gifted LO a small stuffed animal and gave me a bracelet that they made, they have a side handmade jewelry business, I was surprised and thought it was so thoughtful.

Yesterday we got a box of chocolates and a framed picture of LO. We are supposed to be receiving a gift today that LO "made." I can't wait to see what it is! For Thanksgiving, he did a thumb print turkey. LO is 6.5 months old.

Preschool had thier Christmas party Wednesday with Santa (the only adult my kid will go to) and all the kids got presents from him. That was really neat apparantly the rotary club donated them all. The school then gave them each a Christmas book.
Daycare bought him a Christmas ornament. We bought her a photobook of him for the last year.

Oh, for those who want to make a handprint. DH and I did footprint ornaments this weekend at Gymboree and we discoverred the best way to do it is to use a washable stamper not paint. The paint was a disaster!!

We got a handprint wreath on a paper plate and an ornament with her picture. So cute! We also got a handprint turkey at Thanksgiving and a footprint ghost at Halloween.
