Hahaha YES. She is moving to a daycare that has mulch chips as the ground cover for their playground when she turns 2. I cannot wait! No more sand everywhere!!

haha yes, just the other day as Wagon Sr. was shaking WJ's shoes and socks out outside the front door he was saying "I can't wait for snow!"

YES, LO's favorite activity on the playground is the sand box, so if they are outside when I get there she is always covered head to toe in sand. I brush her off, and then actually take her shoes off and dump the pound of sand out before we get to the car!

Yes! In her shoes and socks! When it was super hot in the summer, she'd have sand in her neck, LOL.

@MsLipGloss: I'm not sure about getting it OUT but if you put baby powder on your LO's skin after they're covered in sand..Like, if they're wearing shorts, just rub baby powder on their legs and it'll make it fall right off. (Pinterest)

Nope - no sandbox. However, occasionally he and one of his friends get into the garden and throw soil up in the air and let it rain down so . . . .

The playground/outdoor area is a big sandpit, so my son's shoes are all a mess!
I live by the baby powder trick whenever we play with sand, be it at the beach or at home!

once I let her wear shoes with cutouts (semi sandals) and she came home with an inch of sand in her shoe. she didn't want to walk and I couldn't figure out why until I took her shoes off. that one I thought they should have noticed . . . it was also the last day I let her wear shoes like that!

No sand at school, but I love baby powder for the sand at the beach. Especially the crushed shells that really stick to you.

She isn't playing on the play ground but I am pretty sure they don't have a sand box or anything with sand.
