Mine definitely does! If we're out at a restaurant, she'll eat pretty much whatever we put in front of her. But if I prepare the same thing at home or try to feed her leftovers, she won't eat it! What the heck?!

Mine is the opposite. He gets distracted/excited by the unfamiliar surroundings and won't focus on eating.

Mine's the opposite. He will eat almost anything I make at home, but barely touches the food when we are out.

Mine tends to eat better when we go out.... Makes me feel bad about my cooking.... but hey, I am not using salt and sugar for his food !
He is picky regardless if we eat out or in though, so we only have a handful of restaurants we can go to. Cherish your LOs who would eat anything! Argh... envy!!!

Right now my baby definitely does. She is so excited to be out that I can get her to eat everything really easily. For my 3 year old, it depends on her mood.

Never mind, I take it all back. We just went out to lunch and ordered her a small dish of mac n cheese, her favorite. She ate 3 elbows and signed "all done." I never should have started this thread! Toddlers...

Generally mine does not. He is a creature of routine and eats best at home.

Not usually, he's not use to the highchair at restaurants. He eats best at home where he's comfortable.
