All. The. Time. It kills me especially when they both do it. Right now it's 4:45 and Miss Em is cheerfully cooingly awake. Ugh.

@Andrea: That reminds me. I don't think I have enough coffee dreamer to get me through today and tomorrow. Oh Lord givw me strength...

@NaturallyCathy: eeek! But you still have coffee right?????

@Andrea: Actually I'm really low on regular coffee too. I'll make it through today but tomorrow may be a decaf day. Or a no coffee at all day since there might not be any creamer.

And suddenly I have the urge to curl up into a little ball and whimper....

I refuse to get him out of bed before 6...especially because if he wakes up before then he's usually still cranky and tired. I hate the 5am wakeup!

Yup, she was up just before 5 this morning. Fed her and hoped she'd go back down (she was super sleepy while nursing) but she was wide awake when I put her in her crib. I let her stay there till 6. She's napping now!

Crazy early for LO would be 7..... and she never does that. 7:45 is probably the earliest, and still that's very rare.

@Andrea: so I checked on my coffee making supplies - enough coffee for tomorrow but I'll be lucky if I can make my creamer stretch far enough for my customary two cups. It's a sad day...

Haha LO woke up today at 7:00am and I thought that was early. She usually gets up between 8:15-9:00am. I feel lucky!

lol yeppp, my LO is an early bird....sleeping in for us is 6:45am!!! if she wakes up anytime that starts with a 5, its too early for me!

@littlek: lol - it's a sad day when you realize that 7:00 a.m. is a *late* wakeup!

@littlek: @MsLipGloss: T has a nasty cold and slept from 7:30-6:50 straight last night. It was amazing. So THIS is how the other side lives.

My oldest was up at 5:00-5:30at the latest the first 6 years of her life. I am not kidding...every.single.morning. She could go to bed at midnight and still be up that early. Now she sleeps in until 6:30.

@MsLipGloss: yesterday, he slept from 7:30 to 5:30 and then from 6-8:15.....and I had to WAKE HIM up for daycare. It was insane. Here's to hoping he starts sleeping in after this cold is done! The only ever time he slept this much is when he had a cold - ONCE he slept 13 hours straight and I thought he was dead, obviously. Otherwise, it's 5:30 every.single.day.

Yep, everyday. It's usually between 5:30am-6:30am. 7am would be a dream come true. I've been waking up at 5:30 lately to get ready ahead of him. Most mornings, he's so happy and cheery to be awake.

Earlier this week DS was up at 2:30am. Wide awake. It took almost 2 hours to get him back down. And he was still up for the day at 6:30. I blame it on the molars trying to break through.

UM yes. My DD will get up sometimes at 5:30am and I wanna kill myself because I"m not a morning person AT ALL. My son used to wake up at 6am every morning for months and I couldn't hang. I just brought him in our bed and had him take a morning nap with us.
