It takes us an hour these days to get our daughter to stay in her room for bedtime. She haaates when we leave and always has an excuse for why she needs to leave the room. She's almost 3.

My 3 year doesn't fight it but my 2 year old stalls for a few minutes these days. She wants water, blankets adjusted, her stuffed animals rearranged and kissed, etc!

Not anymore but you know we battled this for 1-2 months right around the same age bracket.

It stopped when we dropped the afternoon nap!
