My LO is sooo impatient and freaks out when I get her food ready for meals! Lots of leg clinging, crying and screaming...Ahhhh!

DS likes to yell in gibberish at me. My boy loves his food!

Yes! I get around this by putting him in his high chair with some puffs on his tray. It keeps him occupied until I can get his food ready.

Yes, girlfriend gets Hangry! I found wearing her in the sling on my hip helps so she can see what is happening.

Yeah, she isn't a fan of the time I spend cooking. I established early on that 'mama/daddy is cooking' means that I won't pick her up right then, and she gets it, to a degree. I also keep play food and pots in the kitchen for her, and tell her to get it out and help me cook, which helps.

She hates when I cook. But not because she can't get at the food, it's because I can't play with her. DH will usually take her to the park or just play with her in her room when I make dinner. Because if he doesn't, he gets stuck making dinner because LO just sits there crying for me so I have to hold her, and he doesn't love cooking.
