She naps better at daycare, but sleeps best at night at home.

She used to. I think but had to do with nursing to sleep and wanting to stay close to me and my chest for comfort, where he wasn't as great if a draw. When we started putting her down awake he had to do it for the first week or two. Now either of us can put her down at night.

E seems to have lost his skills though, considering he just out her down for a nap and was being all jokey ad loud with her. I have to remind him to be quiet and boring or she won't sleep!

@illumina: we had to let her CIO. We started at bedtime one night where NOTHING was working- she didn't fall asleep nursing, rocking and bouncing wasn't doing it. It was not the best way to go about it at all and I was in tears too. BUT, after that, we started being able to put her down awake at night and she would rarely fuss for more than 15-20 minutes, never cried more than five. We continues rocking or nursing to sleep for naps for another couple of weeks after a few failed attempts at putting her down awake for naps, then last weekend we tried again and it worked. I think she was just ready for it, even though she is definitely younger than I thought I would ever sleep train. (4 months last week). It's been life changing.

She still wakes up at night and I nurse to sleep usually, but if she wakes up and doesn't seem hungry and is fussy but not crying, I can let her go and she eventually puts herself back to sleep. I am hoping that it makes our current 4 month regression easier.

Daycare was getting better naps out of LO before we CIO'ed. After CIO, he sleeps well for us. When we went out on a date last weekend, LO flipped out on my parents. I'm nervous about the flip out because he's staying with my parents for a few days after Christmas. They're going to have to CIO with him if that happens.
