My LO isn't a grape fan, but she gobbles frozen grapes up! I'm not a big grape fan either, but I love them frozen

they should be cut in half though since they're a big choking hazard....

@Mrs. Bee: yeah, I usually bite off half and give her the other half! I'm gonna freeze some peaches too. I think it helps soothe her gums. 5 molars coming in!

@BoogieBea: I froze grapes and rainier cherries because they were a few days from going bad and I didn't feel like eating them. Love frozen fruit

LO is too young for frozen fruit but I want to freeze some for myself!

I LOVE frozen grapes but too scared to give them to LO just yet. Do they usually suck on them and then chew? Or, chew them while they are still frozen?

I had friends who suggested freezing different fruits and giving them to LO as an alternate to the water ring teethers (gifted us teether bags to use when we needed to make sure LO didn't bite off pieces that were too big). LO didn't have many problems while teething (we were lucky) so we never got around to trying them until recently when DD decided if the dog gets a piece of ice she needs one too.

My son loved frozen grapes, I'd give them to him in his mesh feeder all the time last summer. Gotta freeze some.

What age do you think it is safe to give them frozen grapes? My lo is 12 months and doesn't seem to have any problems with quartered grapes. Her doc said that her gums are getting puffy so her molars are coming in soon and this sounds like a good relief.

I have to try that too. Mavrick doesn't really love grapes, but I have some in the fridge. hmmm.

I LOVE frozen grapes. They're great during the summer. I don't know about giving them to kiddos though.
