Our center has sandboxes and the kids seem to enjoy playing in sand. My friend is from GA and she can't believe that sand boxes are common here!

We're in Florida and our preschool has a sandbox. They keep it covered with a tarp when not in use, and I know for a fact that my kid uses it because his shoes are filled with sand every time I pick him up.

yep they do - the kids love it!

There is a huge one at the park across the street from the centre so they usually go there.
