Does your nanny do other things around the house? I was talking to a co worker and she said that her nanny cleans and also cooks. Score!! Is this common?

I would expect light housekeeping related to the baby, i.e., maybe a little laundry/ bottle washing/ toy policing . . . but I think that's where my expectations would end, absent a conversation about other tasks (and additional compensation for them).

I think you can establish expectations around this when you make a contract. We initially agreed that our nanny would do more or less what @MsLipGloss: mentioned - baby-related tasks - with the caveat that her #1 priority would always be the girls. That included measuring out formula, washing all bottles and toys, and doing all their laundry though. As it turns out, when she has time she does other things that need doing - watering the plants, emptying the diaper pail and our kitchen garbage, emptying the dishwasher, and folding our laundry if we leave it in the washer. As the girls get older she will make basic baby food/fork purees for them (part of her responsibilities include meal prep). We've never asked her to do any cooking for us - I felt weird about that.
It seems pretty common for nannies around here to do this kind of stuff - one of the many reasons I love having a nanny! Cheaper than daycare for two infants, you don't have to get them out of the house in the morning, and all the baby-related tasks are done so you can just spend quality time with the kiddos when they are awake!

Mine does, though her primary focus is always the girls.

My nanny cooks and cleans, but like pp, her primary priority is always LO. I know that as LO grows older and naps decrease, the nanny will have less time to spend on chores and cooking, and I'm more than okay with that. My nanny does so much though, and I have to say, it's awesome!! And definitely helps us to maximize our time with LO when we're home with her.

Sometimes she will wash bottles and clean up the kitchen if LO takes an extra long nap. I always love coming home to that surprise!
