E: you have a big belly
Parent: um, that hurts my feelings little bit.
E: I'm not calling you Big Belly, I'm saying you have a big belly.
parent: yah, that still hurts my feelings a little bit
e: I am just saying you eat a lot of food (pause) ...and drinks...

My preschooler loves me and my flaws - she touches my wrinkly forehead and says "Oh mommy I love it!!"
The touches my flabby tummy and says "I love your tummy"
My 6 yr old though:
DS: Why is your stomach so fat?
Me: Because you stretched it out when I was pregnant

I was once in Target and a Mom went speeding towards the registers. In her cart her preschooler was going "Mommy, that lady is skinny! Mommy, that lady is FAT!"

DS once turned around and pointed to the man behind us in the grocery store check out line and said "mama, that man has a baby in his belly". I was mortified, ignored him and hoped the man didn't understand English.

Ah! This made me chuckle. I was there last weekend when my 4 year old nephew was hanging out with my 92 year old grandma.
B "What's this" touching G's really wrinkly grandma skin
G: "That's just me, that's what grandmas skin looks like"
B: "I have a grandma and her skin does not look like that"

She told me I'm eating "too much." I think she got that from DH and I tell her that she shouldn't have too much of certain foods, like french fries. So I had to explain to her that you should eat until your belly is full and it's not too much as long as it's healthy.
She's also told me that I have a big tushy. Her dad told her that he used a lot of toilet paper because he has a big tushy while she was in the bathroom with him one day. So she comes out and tells me I have a big tushy and need a lot of toilet paper.
I don't take it personally

@lamariniere: yah, I totally understand! reminds me of the time LO saw a short haired, plainly dressed lady in the bathroom and said, Why is that man in the women's bathroom?
